I emailled you in regards to your order and asked if you wanted the $10 credit or the wheel hanger and haven't heard back so the Skidplate was shipped out by itself today.

Hey Winston, I have a B6 with a Caractere front bumper. Which of the B6 model plate should I order for the best fit?

That's a good question as I haven't had someone with a Caratere bumper order one yet.

If you can measure the distance from the tow hook opening to the leading edge of the bumper I can see which bolt we have would fit best. If you can supply a picture it would help too.

If nothing we already have fits we'll custom cut a bolt for you.

Well...

Get a B6S4 one, the B6 Oetty one and I have no idea for the GTI and I don't know if the bolt even threads in the same.

You can thread in one of the bolts you get and if it fits but is too short/long we can custom cut one for the GTI.

The Skidplate is still on sale and i just shipped out a bunch of them.

I don't know exactly which bolt you would need for the cabriolet front bumper as we never had someone request for that car yet. I'm guessing the S4 front bolt would work.

i thought a skid plate was something that goes under neath the car and protects it from bottoming out or rubbing. Ive never head a licence plate braket called a skidplate before thiers a first time for everything. quality looks nice. I would just run my car without a front tag looks to much like a jap tag bracket how they mount them off to the side.

If you actually my read the explanation why the license plate holder is called a Skidplate then it would all make sense.
