    ??

Does anybody know about these? Their effectiveness on our cars, specifically on 1.8t's (since that's what I have)? How they sound on Audi's? How they sound on stock, and modified? Just any information about them will be appreciated, thanks.

Re: DMH Perfermance's Electric Exhaust Cutouts... Yes, No?

im in the process of installing mine. I custom welded a "T" off of my downpipe instead of using those flowtech things. Than I'm gonna attach the actual motor part and run the wiring when I have time. The quality is VERY good. Also, the customer service is excellent. I'll post pics when I actually have them done.

Alright thanks, I love this idea since it's so easy to close it if you don't want the loudness at times...

hah, I put a cutout on mine, it's not electric tho, I usually take it off when I go to the track, It's mega loud. I dont know If I gained anything but you can really hear the turbo nicely through the exhaust!

Pretty much seeing that the small turbos are already maxed out while using a full exhaust, all they would do is max out even sooner and make the power band smaller while not giving any type of gain in peak hp.

DeanUW has one on his car and it sounds pretty good when he's on it, but sounds like ass at idle (when the valve is open that is).

totally useless post for the A4, but my friend has cutouts on his B6 S4 and that thing Screams like crazy. it sounds sooo good. he also has full AWE exhaust with downpipes, with APR chip.

Re: DMH Perfermance's Electric Exhaust Cutouts... Yes, No?

when i replaced my tranny on my car i was soo eager to have it done and forgot to tighten the exhaust clamp back on so it slid down about 2 inches and allowed the 2 pipes to sepparate and talk about a Loud ass car... but i cant even explain how nasty it sounded. all my buddies laughed at me and said it was worse than a honda. Being a crappy sound wasnt the worst part, im stock/no chip and it threw my car into limp mode until i put the clamp back on.
