resonator delete shops

my buddy wants to get his resonators taken out, anyone know a good shop with a ballpark price?

last shop we checked out was some shady hispanic guy that had no idea what we were talking about hahaha

Any shop should be able to. Just cut them out, replace with straight pipe. If they can't do it i would be surprised if they are still in business, pretty basic.

x2 but some shops may shy away from a straight delete

hit up Ruben, the owner... that's where I got my Magnaflow installed

If it costs you more than $30 you are getting ripped off. Any muffler shop should be able to do it. If they want more then $40, you should laugh and leave.

yeah when i had my resonator cut out on my old passat Meineke (or Midas?) did it for $30. no specialty shop needed for that one.

i got mine taken out for free at my shop, but nowere close to irvine.

Speedway Muffler in Rowland Heights. I took my 240 there to have them make me a full exhaust all the way back from the manifolds. Great pricing, top quality welds/workmanship. They know what they are doing.

But if you insist on somewhere around Irvine, try Mesa Muffler in Costa Mesa.
