STaSIS Financiapocalypse Sale! A4 Touring Suspension Kits!

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
In the spirit of buy high / sell low, STaSIS is clearing out the stockroom and sending out a few smoking deals. For those in dire need of some suspension loving for their A4, we are happy to offer our Touring Suspension, normally $725 for $600!! [plus shipping and limited to stock on hand, said the fine print].

The Touring suspension includes a Koni damper, pre-adjusted by STaSIS and a set of shorter, stiffer springs [not height adjustable] for the optimum ride / performance relationship. I know what you’re thinking: “well I really wanted height adjustability..”. Oh yeah? Are you REALLY going to adjust the suspension? Are you REALLY going to corner balance the car [which has more rubber in its suspension pivots than the Trojan factory]? Why not let the leader in Audi suspension tuning do all of the math for you? STaSIS has done the development, tried and tested dozen's of spring rates, damper settings, etc. and arrived at something we are very happy with. As are our customers. The last set I sold this is what the customer had to say:

"Thank you thank you thank you. The suspension is incredible. I installed it about two weeks ago and I can not believe it. I drove a few blocks conservatively and was not sure there was any change. So compliant.....like stock if not slightly better. But dial up the speed and turn in is incredible, so neutral....hmmm, sometimes I swear the back end is coming around like a rear drive car. A lot less body roll inspires confidence and the car is so much better controlled over rises at speed. Rebound is way better......the car always feels planted. I can not wait to drive Lagune Seca in two weeks."

If you don't believe him, here's another guy's opinion:
    http://www.stasisengineering.com/med...e%200507sm.pdf

The bottom line? This is about the best performance value you will find for an A4 suspension. Rides great, handles amazing and looks fantastic. Save the extra $ you were going to spend on cheap coilovers and spend it on track days.

So whats the ride height? Good for track day? Can you set your own settings? And I couldn't find the product on the site.

    Whoops!

Posted under my old account. This is a legit STaSIS sale, promise!

Ride height is about 1" lower than stock. Great for track days! No settings to mess up! And honestly when you put most of the 'adjustable' suspensions on a shock dyno the adjustability range is laughably small.

If you click the link, then 'Parts and Performance' there is a ton of information about the kit.

PM answered, if you're local come drive one!

That's a sweet deal considering the Bilstein Sports are $500 for all four.

I think 1" lower than sport suspension would be ideal.

Re: STaSIS Financiapocalypse Sale! A4 Touring Suspension Kits!

    Pics here: http://www.stasisengineering.com/ima...bum/index.html

it sets the car at a perfect height. about 1" below stock, 3/4 below stock sport. suspension is located optimally for camber / toe / caster curves. ride is very comfortable and the car handles brilliantly. VASTLY better than stock. the link to the euro car article also shows height. rates are stiffer than stock, that is our IP and we do not divulge. it took many combinations to get this sorted. add a rear bar and you're in BUSINESS. also works for avant. lifetime warranty on Koni dampers.

the good news is that it's a no-brainer. bad news is they're almost gone.

Did the car in the euro car article have this suspension or coilovers? Didn't see any details.
    Looks like a great deal....
Never mind, I see it does have the spring/strut combo. Very impressive.

heh.. i said MOST! the motorsports are an exception [i'd be happy to send dyno plots]. the adjustability range is massive. You can quite literally feel the difference of 1 click of adjustment [there are ~16 clicks on low speed rebound/compression].

I figured as much. What about the SL? I'm planning to buy a set sometime next year to replace my TrackSports.
