OEM Rear bumper different size between years?

tried searching for an answer but no luck. when i originally bought my oettinger rear i was told that a certain year had a slightly different shape rear bumper. Is this true? i have an 03 with a molded oettinger rear. found an 04 oem rear for sale and was hoping it would be an easy replacement. anyone know if theres a different part number?

btw, my rear will be up for sale soon if youre in the so cal area and interested

I didn't think there was a difference between rear ends for the B6 other than Avant vs. Sedan.

I believe the USP and the stock oem have different reinf/mounting arms. The USP have shorter mounting arms.

Well, the european bodies have different rears then american bodies, and your oettinger piece is for a european body, which is why you are thinking different shape/size, becuz the european rear bumper protrudes out a bit more.

thanks for the replies.. looks like i shouldnt have a prob swapping between an 03 and 04 sedan rear then.
