    tinting tails with niteshade

    What are the ptopoer procedures for tinting them?
    What tools will I need? Is there anything else I could use other than vht niteshades?

    screw driver to take out the tail light.

    clean the tail light (tape it up if you want).
    Spray light coats until your satisfied with the darkness.
    If you want a shinier finish apply lots of thin coats of clear.

    you can go to a hobby shop and pick up some spray on tint that's what i used.

    Its best to get some plastic adhesion promoter before you spray on the tint.....this will help prevent the spray-on tint from running if you happen to over spray

    Absolutely! The plastic Adhesion spray will allow for a even spray and prevent cracking, etc. You should also hit it with a couple of coats of clear. Do not put on too many coats of base Nightshade, it may get too dark for you.

    I did mine with VHT Nightshades:
