snow driving cause TCS and ABS lights...

It started to snow really heavy around where I live and within few miles of driving, my TCS and ABS light comes on. It comes on even though I didn't feel any slip. I would turn of my car and the lights would go off, but when I start driving bit faster, the lights come back on. Is this normal? Is the car feeling the ice based on the outside temperature and automatically going into preventive mode? No change in the engine performance, just the lights...and it never did that until it started to snow in last few days. Anyone else have experience this?

I had the same problem....no ice involved but it was the steering wheel angle sensor. Good way to find out if that is the problem if start the car.......if the light is off.....turn the wheel to the MAX. if the light comes on thats most likely the problem.

    No that wasn't me...

I'll try the steering wheel test later. How did you end up fixing that problem?

Anybody else have any input on this?

my light was on when my control arms broke. So I'm guessing wheel is out of alignment or something causing a false signal.
