The guy has sold over 20 "splitters" and all but one gave him positive feedback. The one negative feedback said: "GARAGE DOOR WEATHERSTRIP 10 BUCKS AT HOME DEPOT WARNING!!!!!!!"

But seriously, it looks okay and one can't expect much for $30 bucks. I put this on my car for a week and it was $30-bucks-good (not my thing though). I'm sure there are many people who don't frequent car forums and look on eBay for ideas instead. This guy is serving that niche and making $15 a pop. Good for him.

actually, anything you post on the internet that is your original work is copyrighted. you dont need to do anything to copyright it. he has no right to use your picture and you can sue "The copyright owner can sue infringes for damages up to 10,000 dollars and as much as 50,000 for willful infringement and attorney's fees and costs".

Sorry, but I do think there is something wrong with not fully explaining what you are selling. I have been doing business on Ebay for around 5 years now, and people that misrepresent what they sell are annoying. While I agree that if you're dumb enough to buy that for $30 when you can go to Home Depot, you deserve it, it's still not exactly ethical to do this. Is he lying or deceiving anyone? No. But leaving out information is deceptive all on it's own.

last time i went to home depot and checked, the weather strip was about 14 bucks, and the 3m tape was about 12. i wouldn't exactly consider that ripping someone off.

i dont know what your implying there, but expect not to get caught for what? we already went over that i didn't make the ad, and i am NOT selling it. as i stated numerous times, he stole my pictures from my last thread. i messaged the guy through ebay with no response and i reported his ad to ebay too.
