How rare is a 2008 A4 2.0T S-Line Titanium?

I was just curious how rare these cars are? I just picked one up from my local Audi dealer and they were not willing to negotiate much telling me how hard it is to find one. I ended up getting one in white with 6MT.

Is there any particular colors harder to get than any others?

I tried googling but didn't come up with much in terms from production numbers.

my friend has the same thing white sline ti but his is a avant. i dont thinik they are super hard to find but harder then a run of the mill a4

You will find that they might be somewhat common here on the forums because the cater largely to the enthusiast crowd with the titanium package, but as far as seeing one on the road or for sale they are definitely fairly rare.

I have an '08 DG A4 2.0t 6sp and I don't think i have seen another one on the road. I've seen a few here on the forums but not many.

yeah I loved my Ti Ibis White because I never saw any around town...however they are everywhere on here...dealership told me it was super rare to find one like mine as well

what was the deal you ended up getting if you don't mind me asking?

I ordered mine and the ******s at the audi dealer here submitted builds for 2 exactly like mine, only mine is the only one thats a 6MT! Quartz grey. All in all there arent many Ti packages out there compared to the sheer amount of A4's on the street. I picked quartz grey because i like how it matches the rims....

Same thing happened to me. I ordered my car, when it came in and the saw how hot it was, they ordered two more. The ones they ordered were FWD autos though as that is what sells around here. I've only seen two other Ti A4s on the road in my area though.

I live in a pretty crowded city and i have only seen a handful of titanium package cars, i myself have a dolphin gray Ti package and i have never sen another car like mine anywhere in person, only on a few forums

Also, IIRC, only about 10% of A4s came with 6MT.

So no, a 6MT titanium packaged A4 is not very common.

No, I found a private party and he did an in-out trade on a new car so I technically bought it from an Infiniti dealer.

Funny though, there are two cars that I passed on that were bought by AZners. One of them as a stunning Imola titanium that was sold out of Nevada to an AZer local to me. Unfortunately, it's FWD.

I remember that Imola car in Vegas. That was around the same time I bought my car. I remember calling the dealership in NV after it had just sold, and they said, "We could have sold that car 20 times over". But yeah, it was FWD.

As far as the titanium manual being a rare car, yeah it is, but you would never be able to tell that by surfing the forums. It seems like everyone and their mom has one on here. I drove 100 miles away to get mine.

I'd say they're pretty rare, I know my ibis is like the only one sold from my dealership, and I have only seen one other one in salt lake(ibis).
ps is it true that a dealer can only order one titanium for every 4 regular? or is that bs, i don't know where i heard that

You have a special car my friend. The white color is a sweet color. When I was looking for mine I didn't see any ti's near me. That is why I have a DYI Ti package

Wow thank you guys for all the replies! I realize there are a handful of them on this forum is because we all got them from each dealership in our local or readily available area and congregated here!

I have indeed started modding already and I am getting an APR chip as soon as spring time comes!

I will post pics as soon as I get them

So far I have done all cosmetic mods e.g: LED every light I can. Awe-Tuning boost gauge, awe-tuning diverter valve, and some vag-com mods!

Haha, they told me the same thing, except they had it FS for over a month because it's FWD. I couldn't do without Quattro but very nice car though...Imola, titanium, 6MT and gunmetal RS4 reps...it was tough having to pass on such a unique car.

^^baller! TI is very nice, but exterior wise isn't it just black window trim, black grill and wheels? Well I know headliner for interior as well..

doesnt seem worth it too me, if you going to mod...headliner = suede, wheels = aftermarket, grill = rs4 ...

but thats what I think... anyhow back to the thread and me being jealous I dont have TI

I probably see 500 or more B7 A4's for every titanium s-line. I have seen very few around here.
I wanted ibis soooo badly ( I still dream about that color!) But I found an '08 phantom black titanium s-line, quattro, 6spd with 7000 miles, through a private seller that lived only a few towns away. Couldnt pass that up.

I never ever thought that I would buy a RED car, but damn, that f-r that I bought is pretty sweet with the titanium, blacked out everything, it's a great combo, some guy in a 09 prestige was drooling over mine at the target the other day, was the car he wanted none in the bay area, or so cal. but glad that I do have quattro, and auto (streets o san francisco)

My buddy and I did the euro headlight look by turning the ambers off unless I hit the turn signal, hold unlock/lock on key fob and have my windows roll down/up, and turned off the seatbelt chime. Just the basics, I need to buy the full version of vag-com for myself soon too!

I was in the market for the same car. My local dealer had 2 (Dolphin Gray and Ming Blue) but they didn't want to negotiate for the same reason, so I went to the next one, 60 miles away and took them 3 weeks to get one, right off the boat. I ended up with a Ibis White 6mt/Sports pkg/Ti.

Tint the windows, it looks great with the dark rims

I didn't mind though since the only reason I even bought the car was because I was in love with that car and color combo, if it wouldn't have been there I would have just kept my A3. So you'll probably see at least one other Ibis Ti 6MT around town, I live in excelsior and often head out to EP. I have seen a one black and one blue Ti sedan scooting around here also.

I will have to agree, ti package does not seem rare when you look around the forum, but I looked for 3 months for a 6mt avant and got lucky with this one.

Yeah, the ti package really sells itself to the car enthusiasts. I must say, I love the look of the black interior with the black headliner but the piano black trim is the BIGGEST BITCH ever to keep clean. a total nightmare and if you arent careful it scratches real easily. I have a feeling ill be selling my 6MT in about a year or so if anyone is interested ;-). Although it will probably have about 30K on it by then. I love the fact that like someone said earlier, of the 500 or so I see, 1 might be a titanium! And the titanium isnt that easy to mimic on the outside. You can do it, but it aint worth the time. I just hate chrome, so deleting all of it from the car was the only way to go!

Its also good to know there arent nearly as many quartz grey's on here as the white!
