I badly need a new clutch! So I was looking at the 034 240mm kit

Will this hold up to a BT setup?

Spec also makes a 240mm kit that can be ordered in different stages. 034 is putting one of those on a B6 that is 2 liter/GT30r and will be running a stage 3+ clutch 240mm setup.

    Re: Clutches....

    034 claims it'll 400lb/ft of torque. My SPEC 228mm will hold 410lb/ft.

Personally I'm really happy with my SPEC. I purchased the Stage 2+ w/ Steel 16lb FW.
If/when I upgrade to a larger turbo and internals I'll probably go with the 3+ clutch/pressure plate OR the 240mm Stage 2 kit.

I buy stuff from 034 and I'm very happy with their services, I won't talk you out of buying anything they sell (they sell SPEC too).
Maybe just look into how big of a turbo you could even consider buying, and buy something that could hold that. When I bought mine, the biggest I thought I could want was a 2871, now I think I would go with a 3076 or an HTA if I went to a larger turbo.

    Re: Clutches....

Drives great with the 16lb. Considering the turbo size, torque curve comes in smooth, and driveability is great.

Like any 4cyl though it'll chug/buck/generally get pissed off if you load it in a high gear below 1500rpm. Other than that I actually prefer the single mass to any dual mass I've driven.
