destroyed my transmission mounts (opinion request)

So I absolutely destroyed my trans mounts and my snub mount, and probably a coolant flange somewhere last night on a launch. I got my car towed to East Coast European in greenland, and from what I can see, my trans(and engine) have shifted back and are pivoting on the engine mounts, and I am leaking coolant.

I wanted to replace the trans mounts with the 034 motorsport spec ones:
    http://www.034motorsport.com/product...roducts_id=433

and the snub mount with an apikol unit.

what do you guys think? I am aware that the trans mounts will vibrate(alot)

Engine mounts are prob shot also do them..I believe you have 2 choices with 034 when it come to tranny/motor mounts, street density or track density. Do a search on here, you will get alot of diff opinions on wether to go with street or track.

I did 034 street density and there is still to much play in the drivetrain... I wish I could've done track density.

Re: destroyed my transmission mounts (opinion request)

yeah, I think im going to go with track density, I'm worried that with the solid motorsport spec ones I will break something more expensive.

I launched right around 4.5K.....I'm guessing my mounts were already pretty shot.

034 track density are pretty good... the only time i feel any vibration is when the a/c is on at idle

Re: destroyed my transmission mounts (opinion request)

I have the 034 Snub and bracket, Track Density Motor and Tranny Mounts and my car just broke 100K and shifts like it was bought yesterday. The track density mounts are great, and after 1 week you won't even feel the vibration anymore really. I kind of like it actually because you really tighten up the tranny obviously but also in turns, the body roll isnt as much because the parts aren't slopping around anymore. I was very surprised by the mounts. Go for it, wont be disappointed
