A4 crankshaft AWM change to AWP

I need the information:
Can I replace the crankshaft from AWP engine (VW BORA 1.8T 2003) to my 2001 A4 Avant AWM engine?
Is that the same crankshaft in this engine?

I do not know how much funds are going into this project. But if you are doing engine work, I would also look into doing rods and pistons at the same time.

For drop in solutions you have the AZG and AEG cranks. The AEG and AZG are from MK4 2.0’s and are cast in construction.

You could easily get AEB forged pistons (used in good condition can always work) and Scat rods. Or keep the stock pistons and get Integrated Engineering Rods. Just a suggestion!
