    Re: Chemical Guys...?

Fwiw, I bought some of their extra-large mf towels - they sucked (not very absorbent, cheezy plasticky edging, crap, oh well). Never used any of their washes/polish/wax (and prob never will...)

    Rides:
    '06 S4 Avant, silver/black w/ alcantara, w/ V8 goodness - new DD (finally back in an S!)
    '07 A4 Avant 2.0TQ S-line & Ti, I-white/black (unicorn?) - w/ APR goodness, old DD, now beach-mobile
    '93 BMW 850ci, FE Red/Black - major garage queen

    Previous:
    '01.5 S4 Avant, Silver/Onyx (Sold...miss it a whole lot )
    '98 BMW 328ic, Cosmos/Grey/Black (Sold...miss this one a whole lot, too)

I considered some CG CWG wash based on the posts from some of the pros, however Phil (even with all my noob questions) has been so helpful I am sticking with product from DD.

I've used the JetSeal 109, it seems to work well. A big advantage is that its absurdly easy to apply, you just coat the car with a MF sponge, let sit for 20 minutes, wipe off. Repeat, and you're done. Very quick, and easy to put on a quick coat just for protection without detailing your whole car.

    Re: Chemical Guys...?

First off I've ordered from DD and CG, both have great products! I order all my interior products from DD.

I've been using a number of the CG products and I gotta say I'm really happy so far. Here's the list:

    • Extreme Slick Synthetic - Quick Detailer
    • Citrus Wash & Gloss
    • EXTREME V.R.P. DRESSALL DRESSING
    • 50/50 Wax

I've also used their Elite Deluxe MFT (yellow w/ black band) and find them to be very good. I also just picked up a blue clay bar but have not used it yet. By far my favorites are the wash and the quick detailer.

good to know. i was thinking about trying out their Extreme Slick Synthetic as a detail spray/clay lube once my gallons of Adams detail spray runs out. i dunno if i'll make the move though. i LOVE the smell of Adams detail spray lol.

I like the CG VRP, but you might want to look into Adams VRT. I also like the CG clear wash.

Ive used their diamond polish, not sure if they still have that, but I didnt like it at all. Reminds me of XMT. Id stick with Menz. Ive also used their leather conditioner and I didnt like that at all either.
