Blacked out front, need advice [PICS]

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Alright I blacked out the front. I'm going for the complete black out look. I am getting windows and tails tinted this weekend. I am also getting black rims or blacking out the stock ones. Do you like the turbo emblems on the sides. I do, but then I don't. I can remive them really easily, so please no need to flame, just say if you don't like them.
    Front mods are;
    Blacked out grill
    Blacked out rings
    Blacked out lower grill
    Blacked out headlights
    Blacked out side markers
    Red Painted Calipers

Lowering kit is still not installed.

    How do you like it?

I'd rather see the rings chrome still, side markers look nice, headlights look SUPER, and turbo emblems... REMOVE please... IMO adding emblems just makes you look like rice, just my .02

Yeah i've had a lot of people tell me to take them off. Thanks about the headlights, they took me 8 hours and a lot of elbow grease and frustration.

i think everything looks great except for the turbo emblems. it makes me think of mazdas. i've seen 2 or 3 of them driving around with a turbo emblem in the same spot. tacky. but i love the head lights

someone on here has a VERY nice looking b6 with the turbo emblem instead of the rings on the back, I personally think it just looks dumb. MUCH rather just have the rings instead of the wal mart turbo

in their defense I am pretty sure it is a "turbo" badge off a porsche. doesn't mean it looks good, but not a $3 badge from walmart.

Hmmm alright, how would I go about making them chrome again? Soaking in acetone? Or should I just buy a new piece? How much are they?

what'd you use to black them out? if its plastidip you can just sand over it and it'll peel right off, then just use something to make it shiny again.

i like the blacked out grilles and headlights, those are tight. get the chromed rings back to tie it together, you got an audi man! gotta rep it! no turbo badges, sides or back. keep rings on. side markers are too black

Looks good and all...but why is the car so high when your sig says you have a lowering kit? IMO that car needs to be dropped before you black it all out and add wheels.

    haha

You're probably thinking of Shawn's car. When you run a 3076R turbo and your car is in eurotuner...you can pull off the turbo badge.
