    Its Finally Mine!!! Awe Non-res

well the day has finally come where i got my awe non res exhaust for my b6. I've been waiting for months and am so excited it's here. unfortunately, since the summer is long gone and daylight savings is no longer in effect, i have to wait till my next day off to install it. so sunday, weather permitting i'll have my track exhaust on my s4. I've gotta say the build quality is premium. Also, the guys at AWE were awsome. I was dealing with John mostly. While i was there they gave me a look at the supercharger. It's so sexy. I should put everything else on hold and get that next.

Re: Its Finally Mine!!! Awe Non-res

had mine put on last week along with a giac flash. im very happy with the sound. ridiculous difference. looks not so much. the exhaust sits out too much for me and the gap from the top of the bumper is large. i know i have to wait about a week or a few hundred miles to adjust. the problem is they say u can only adjust in and out not up. i was more impressed with the way milltec(sp.) looked.

The AWE tips are known to hang very low. However, there is a simple fix: install B7 exhaust hangers. This will raise them up a half inch or so. I am going to do it on my B6 to get rid of the gap.

i'll have to look into this. and yeah, i'm becoming less of a fan of the "round can look". i think my tips and mufflers are going black eventually. i think with the soon-to-go-black rear valance, it'll be a nice compliment.

    thoughts anyone?

thanks tad. my guy told me he was going to do everything possible to make me happy. he didnt suggest this modification to me so i dont know. he said i would also be surprised at what lengths AWE would go to as well to make sure the customer is happy with their product. i would really hate to have to go with a whole new setup after what i just spent, but the look of the car is just as important.
