    The ups :

just filled up at shell for $1.86 / gal for 93 octane premium

    the downs :

next week is deer opener, and i already got mine! ....with my car :\

i took out his back legs with the bumper (taking off the headlight washer nozzel) and her body hid the front fender.... could have been a lot worse

    i figure about a $200 collision

Yea the deer are really bad here. Contact A&P for a new fender! It looks like that is all you need.

Re: the ups and downs of living in the midwest

$1.78 ? something like that , cant remember i never get it ha.

and no i only have liability insurance on my car since im in college and dont drive all that much. (and its only $53 a month) and i figure if i would have had full coverage on it, i probably would have $500 deductible so i wouldnt have turned this in to insurance regardless

any recommendations on popping this out?

Re: the ups and downs of living in the midwest

Yeah I only have liability as well. Anyways If you decide to get a new fender, Do like Rob said and contact A&P. Their located in the Minneapolis area, Not far from you probably. They have pretty fair prices, that reminds me I have something I need to get from them.

Hmmm. I just paid $2.57 for premium
    As far as your dent...
We had one on her trunk lid to the right of the lock.
    DentWizard was our solution.
I still can't figure out how he got the dent out with out a single mark or any indication of the previous dent.
Maybe you have one near you that is very good.

Damn, $1.86 for 93! I just paid $2.56 for 91 in LA (highest octane in CA).
As for that fender of yours, easy fix. As long as its color matched/polished good, youll never be able to tell, if your going to repaint.

Re: the ups and downs of living in the midwest

Thats not going to "pop out" because of the creases, HOWEVER, you should be able to get it back to normal shape pretty decently to live with for a couple months till you can find a cheap fender.

I suggest using a wooden baseball bat, rolling it with even pressure.

Re: the ups and downs of living in the midwest

Before you pop it out, it might help if you use a heatgun and heat up the paint from the outside and in the inside so you dont crack it as bad when you pop it out. Id push it from the inside.

Re: the ups and downs of living in the midwest

Sorry about the car, glad you're ok though. Gas is the same for me, very glad!

Apparently the audi can take a hit though, unless you both got lucky on how you hit it.

That not bad man, I got a fender matched to my body color before with all the trim pieces for 110 bucks before from a junkyard. I'm sure you can find one some where too.
