so i was adding a shock sensor to the factory alarm last night and everything worked. i have the sensor trigger the hood pin wire and it set off the alarm. lights flash, horn beep for about one minute then turned off but the lights keep flashing. i waited for about another 3 to 4 minutes but the lights were still flashing. anyone know how long the lights are suppose to flash after an alarm trigger? i wanted to wait and see how long there would flash but afraid of draining the battery.

I cant give you the exact amount of time that they stay on,Maybe 5 to 10 minutes, but it certainly isnt enough to kill your battery.

If you're good with that kind of stuff you should electrify the door handles and post a write-up on it. I'd even pay you for the write-up!
