Wiring Angel Eyes to City Light Question.

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I know the forum is pretty divided on Angel Eyes. So if those who dislike them could keep their derailing comments out I'd appreciate it.

I've searched. (I'm sorry mods, I'm sure you're sick of seeing Angel Eye questions.)

I want to wire up my Angel Eyes in place of the City Lights. I'd like the city light bulb just to sit in the housing but never illuminate. Is there a way to wire them like this? (obviously I can't have a bulb out warning)

Also, for those of you who have ballasts with your Angel Eyes, where'd you mount them?

    Thanks for your help.

Cut the wires to the citylights and use them on your angels. If you need extra resitors. Put them on aswell.
What kind of angels did you buy?

Cool thanks for the replies. Does anybody have any idea what resistors I'd need. Wiring gurus feel free to chime in!

I bought the kit that OEMPL.us was selling. They no longer offer it.

The kit I received looks exactly like the Umnitza kit.

Yeah I think they'll look good. I just need some guidance on what resistor to apply where. I was hoping someone had done it before.

I'm gonna make an attempt at wiring them up tomorrow. Can anyone shed some light for me? At least tell me what resistors to use?

get some roundels too, or get 4 roundels and put them all together to form an Audi symbol, that would be awesome!

I was waiting for you Hockenheim. I think you're quite possibly the most vocal and staunch opposition to Angel Eyes. Haha.
