Can you make the alarm honk instead of beep?

Simple question...can you make the alarm, when triggered, honk the horn instead of beeping. I want something that will wake me up in the middle of the night if somebody's trying to jack my stuff (not that I live in that bad of a neighborhood) and a little chirping is not going to do that. I noticed that my horn doesn't even work if the car's not running so I'm doubting that it can be done with the stock system but I'm new to this so I figured I'd give it a shot. Thanks a lot!

Yes, take the car to a stereo/alarm shop and they can do it for you...

Basically they will tap into the signal for the alarm horn into the trunk, add a relay that will trigger a second horn that does not beep, but rather makes real noise.

mine is quite now. how can i make it beep again. after I VAG'd it it got silent.

it will start honking in 30 seconds, if someone punches out th window in ur car or something it'll be loud.

So if you press the panic button, while some bastard is beating you down and robbing you, the horn starts honking after 30 seconds? Now that would be an insult after you're laying on the ground and the guy runs off then your car starts honking at you.

So something has to happen to the car to make it start honking? I pressed the panic button today and it just beeped, never started honking.

i swear that beep is meant to attract killer dogs to come rescue us. what other reason would they make it have it beep like that?!

Maybe it's so everyone will stop and look around to make sure there's not a vehicle about to back over them then they'll see the panicked Audi driver kicking his/her car because it's not honking.

I thought it was odd also that the headlights don't work unless the car is on?
