So, on somewhat of a whim and with the good advice of Mike, I purchased my newest toy....



Overall a great package of everything I need to learn. I have my staffers to teach me along the way, along with the rest of you camera guys. I figured I could have a little more fun with this one than with my Kodak Z812is.

awesome man, thats definitely a good startup kit. once you really get used to what you've got i'd suggest moving away from the Tamron lenses. you can get good shots out of them, but upgrading to a top notch lense will really blow you away. i used to own both of the 28-80 + 75-300 Tamron lenses you've got, along with the rebel...haha

check out a store called Camera Trader in Englewood, near Oxford & Federal...such an awesome store. i found an incredible tripod used for $35 last time i went out there.
