HELP speedtuning tuning question lol???

Quattro or FWD make no difference. It is a mechanical system. Just check the ECU numbers for compatibility.

and yes, you can recode the fwd ecu for a quattro car via vag-com

i just talked to the guy at speed tuning and he said i would have to send it out to him to be program for a 5spd/quattro and would be around $100... He said they are completely different files

im more then hhappy with my st stage 2 chip.. right nic lol

if the st tune your buying is 5 speed front track, then it will work for your car. auto fwd, will need recoded with vag.

if you plan to go ko4, dont waste your coin.. go elim and dont regret it.

i was saying you werent more then half a car ahead of me at any time.. except the first run when yo ustarted out in 3rd and i walked off on 30.. but to me that doesnt count. what counts is the runs we got in that were comparable.

I had a speedtuning chip on my last car and it was pretty decent. I got it on a group buy for $125 or so, but it would have been worth full price. Is there another group buy going on?

Yeah, i got it on a group buy too, worth every penny(not THAT many, thank goodness) for a basic chip. Couldn't be happier. The money saved over some of the bigger names has gone into a savings fund dedicated to the say that my K03 decides to go bye-bye... although his wanting an extra 100 bucks is a bit =_=.. Oliver seemed nice enough when I went up there a couple months ago.

a little off topic but has anyone of you speedtuning owners ever heard of B6 A4s getting chipped by speedtuning. I have not seen any threads regarding tuning for the 1.8t but on a B6 model which i have. One owner i read reported that his speedtuning didn't work since the B6 computer has a immobolizer.

Also does the stage 2 need injectors? whats the difference from stage 1 and stage 2?

no injectors. he recommends exhaust and intake. i dont have my gauge in to see what boost im running, but id say at least holding 18.

stage 1 is a 1.0 bar file, holds ~15psi. his stage 1+ is a 1.1 bar file, it holds 16-17ish.

LOL, ask him if he thinks everyone is a NOOB when it comes to tuning for a car that is nearly 12 years old.
