    Oxygen Sensor-Replacement

    Hi Everyone,

As i was telling everyone about how bad my MPG was. The only thing I could have think that might have been bad was the oxygen sensor. I replace it Saturday.

It wasn't hard and I used a oxygen sensor socket but you I could have used a 22MM wrench but didn't have one.

the only hard part I would say was to get the cable out since it was zip tie on the tightest area and made sure I dont cut any cables :)

I have noticed more power/imporove on acceleration and MPG.

I will fully report since I drive around on a full tank since I log my fill ups.

The picture is how the old sensor looked like. It has like a white powder on it and not sure if it means anything.

    Re: Oxygen Sensor-Replacement

I replaced the First sensor before the CAT. I do see feel some improvement. The second Sensor afer CAT only checks to see if the CAT is working. What error codes you get?

Mine didn't give me any error codes but since I was getting really poor MPG I heard at times the sensor gets lazy to work.. I bought a OEM one for $122.
