    looks like the standard Aluminium trim.

    Yes its painted. You could do the same if you take yours off your car, and bring it to an autobody. You cannot buy it from a store...

    I did too, just take it off and plasti-dip it. It looks much better than before when mine was all scratched up and crappy looking.

    yeah, I have

    it depends what you want to do. Its best to make sure all of the old stuff is peeled off and then to plasti-dip it, otherwise it wont stick or will wrinkle up. Also, its best if you want a good looking interior to just pony up and buy new parts, thats what I have been doing after dealing with a cheesy looking plasti-dipped interior.
