You'll need it for the ARP bolts. They don't just use an allen key. Stock don't either actually.

Yea, the factory ones are either basically an overgrown torx, or a triple square. In either case, they need to be about 4" long to reach down in the head. 20v heads are a bastard to work on lol.

The real kicker is that the tool that comes with the ARP bolts will work with the ARP bolts or some of the 1.8t head bolts, but not all, since there are 2 styles of 1.8t bolts.
