We have been an ARP distributor for a LONG time due to the rod bolts we buy. We finally decided to get going and start selling some of their regular applications as well. That said, we have picked up a couple of big stacks of these ARP 1.8t head bolts, and would like to get them MOVIN.

    10MM ARP 1.8t Head Bolt w/o Tool $124.95

10MM ARP 1.8t Head Bolt with Tool $149.95

LOL... Weren't a lot of 2000's also 19mm pin / new style motors? We definitely need to get ARP to do the 11mm ones as well. Right now eurospec sells a "reusable" 11mm bolt but meh. I have contacted fastener manufacturing companies before and not many can get the tensile strength and overall quality that ARP does.

Stud & Nut format huh... They think they have a cylindrical nut figured out that won't mushroom?

The major benefit to a stud / nut is it allows a fine thread on the nut to be used, but man are they ever tough to make work on the 20v.

19mm wrist pins, but still 058 block... So 11mm only

IMHO if they are over torqued or just installed incorrectly then they will mushroom.
The advantage to this is that we wont have to pay through our asses for studs anymore.

Interesting, for whatever reason I thought they switched to 06a when they went DBW.

Well, when the 11mm's do arrive, I'll make sure to put together a sick special on them. Plus I need a set for myself :)

this is off topic, but does anybody else ever wonder why VAG decided to build like 100+ 1.8t varients? lol

Granted, there are a lot of real common ones, but I still hear new ones (BBU?) like once every couple of weeks.

yeah i always hear of new ones. It was annoying when i was trying to find and 06a block to build. Someone would be selling a cheap 1.8t bottom end. I would get excited.....then find out the code was an obscure 058 block. totally weak.
