dude fuck-a-namebrand- go to a (good) exhaust shop and have a custom 3 inch or 3.5 inch made with a magnaflow muffler. no resonator, have them cut your cats out also.

Because it is a bit more expensive if you want it done with stainless and mandrel bent.

I personally have an ASP and after seeing some of the custom exhaust threads the past couple months, I have been regretting not getting a nice custom dual 2.5" or 3" exhaust made and spent the extra money on a good set of DP's.......just my .02

True but asp sounds amazing also, someone in another thread made a comment about true duals sounding worse than singles, which i really dont think is true

The single exhausts make a throatier noise with more rumble because the dual downpipes are forced to merge into one single pipe. My brother's S4 has a single exhaust with dual tips and after hearing it I sent my car right to the shop for a single exhaust. Every shift creates a loud pop that sounds like a gun going off. However, I believe the true dual will actually flow better unless you're running like a 3.5" single pipe. sound is subjective though so do what makes you happy.

Yeah, it's the same thing with most cars. Mustangs always run either X-pipes or H-pipes after the headers (both produce a different tone). The 'stangs that run duals all the way back from the headers, without any sort of merge always sound a bit crappier.

depends on the shop.
you dont need mandrel bends and stainless steel. its just an exhaust. if you really care about looking that pretty then get some nice tips and be done with it.
personally id rather have one fat 3.5 inch custom pipe than an expensive setup with resonators and shit that id just cut out later.

After about 15k the welds were rusting and I just put pigges on it and a Borla 3" cat back and love it.

The install included both the exhaust and DP install...DP (both removal of stock, install of DP) was the MAIN reason why it took 19 hours.
