Xmas comes early! **FREE** inline resistor for license plate LED bulb retrofit

I ordered up all the parts to do the mod and misintepreted the instruction and bought 1 extra inline 25W resistor..... So any of you that want to do this retrofit (proven to work on B6/B7, eliminates light flickering & bulb out warning on DIS), first one to give me a holler and this extra resistor is yours, call it an early xmas present from me.

I don't have extra LED bulbs so you do need to order 2X of the "High Powered 9 Led SMT Festoon" from http://autolumination.com/festoon.htm, $9.99 ea. Looks something like this:



These bulb gives out a pure white light and not blueish like others that I have seen so it does not look ricey.

Once you got all the parts, follow the DIY found here http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=235841 and you too can have a result like this (had to show off the hard work )



I would be happy to help you with this retrofit but I'm gonna have another surgery this week so you'll have to wait a couple of weeks until I'm a better. That's all for now, first one to post wins.
