My plan for the winter is a little different this year. The roads are so bad around here and I am sick of scraping in snow. I figured I could also freshen up the 100k suspension while I'm at it. Here's what I've decided on:
25" height raised to 27"
New JHM Halfshafts to replace the blown CV (grease mess!) I found today (ordered)
New wheel bearings all around (got em)
Hotchkis f/r sways (waiting on order)
New JHM 12 piece Control Arm kit (aluminum CA kit) (waiting on order)
17" stockers ----> 16" A4 stockers (had to grind the hell out of the Caliper and use 15mm spacer in front and back)
Flushed and bled brake lines today (what a difference)
This will compliment the new tie rod end I did last year and Eibach Pro Street S Coilovers.
Still have to put in the Fidanza LWFW and Southbend stage 3 clutch, SSAC DP's, VAST W/M injection, 034 Phelonics and full gasket kit for engine.
I know my car will look like an allroad on skinnies but it will work out great in the snow and will be pretty comfortable to boot.
I will do the rear sway and bearing on friday then the front sway, half-shafts, bearings, CA's on Sunday. Ride height and alighnment soon after. Should be fun.
