Mercedes ML wheels for my Winter set up

Hey guys, so last week i messed up and bought 15 inch steelies with winter tires and brought them home tried them on and realized that my 3.0 big brakes are too big for the 15 inch rim to fit. So i was sitting on craigslist today looking around for some snow tires for my stock 17's and then i ran accross stock Mercedes ML320 wheels for sale and realized they are 16's. So then i remembered that my brother sold his ML like 2 years ago with Brabus wheels and he left his stock 16 ML320 wheels behind at home after he got married and moved out. I know this much info about them they are 16x8 with a negative 62mm offset and bolt pattern is 5x112 and they are sitting in my crawl space of my house and they basically belong to me.lol. My question is will these fit my ride in any possible way with spacers or anything.

Im willing to buy correct size tires for them.

any ideas or comments are welcome.

I thought about that but they have the stock ML tires on them which are huge. But I'll have to give it a shot tomorrow or monday!

I just thought if anyone is an expert on offset and fitment maybe they could just tell me if they would even work. I know our stock wheels have an offset of 45 and then my aftermarket 19's have 35.

I think you'll need spacers, those are going to sit really far in the wells and may rub on the inside on suspension components.

For the cost of spacers and bolts you might as well just buy a wheel/tire package from tirerack. You can use them for like 4-5 years, so its a worthwhile investement.

IIRC MB wheels that I've seen in the past have had different sized hubs as well, so you'll need new hubcentric rings as well, if they are even swappable, which they most likely are not. Why not sell those wheels and use the money to buy correct wheels?? I bet an ML owner would like them for a winter setup.

Ok so..... I talked to my brother this morning and he said he got rid of the wheels. I was like WHAT??? He said after he sold the car, the new owner came back like a month later and asked if he could buy the stock ones for a small price? And my brother ended up selling them. Damn i thought they were still siting in my crawl space. Oh well gonna keep looking for other sets and ideas!
