TOTAL: $60,215


If this car was bought at MSRP, would it be a deal or steal compared to what other dealers are charging out there?
Do dealers charge a mark-up on these cars? If so, how much?
Any advice would be appreciated,

Why?

I can see a deal being made because of the state of the economy...however, these cars arent sitting around on lots (the way m3's are), so why would dealers sell below msrp?

You might be able to take a little off MSRP but if it were me I wouldn't feel bad paying MSRP for it. Even when a pre-sold S5 becomes available they do not last very long before they are sold at MSRP. Even if you won't pay MSRP someone is right behind you who will. The options are order one and wait 7-9 months, have your dealer call you when a random one becomes available, just happen upon one that you like and buy it.

Just wait to buy a vehicle, the auto market is only going to get worse before it gets better IMO. Pick up a new RS4 for less than the S5 if you must.
