    cat failed readiness on vag com

    What would make the cat and evap fail the readiness on vag com? my cat doesnt stink or act clogged. maybe its just on its way... anything common that would make the evap fail?

    when was the last time you cleared the codes (reset the ecu) its take a couple hundo miles for those codes to set readiness.

    I just got chipped today, i had absolutely no stored codes at all.

    check your readniess again in another 200 or so miles, im sure theyll be set to passed as soon as you still have a cat.

    Should be able to force a readiness check by using block 086 IIRC.
