    anyone know how to install an amp in a b6

    I have an 05 a4 with the symphony two and am pretty broke i can put up some cash though... I have a good idea how to install this kinda stuff but would really like some help installing the system in my car... It's for two subs...

    power, ground, rca's, and remote wire. (buy a amp kit from like best buy or circuit city unless you have one already)

    run the power back from your battery, find a good ground spot in the trunk, hook the rca and the remote wire(amp turn on wire) behind the radio. im sure theres a write up on here or audiworld if you need to see pics or figure out which wire on the factory harness is the amp turnon. i havent looked at a stock radio in awhile but i know thers a diagram sticker on the radio showing the connections. not sure if it shows you the amp wire

    there's a great place to tap your Line Out Converter using the factory sub wires (on the rear deck where your factory sub is). this way, you can still control the amount of bass using the factory head unit controls.

    cars are pretty much all the same when it comes to stereos, you'll just have to figure out how to pull panels off.

    yeah the more i looked into i feel confident about installing it myself... hopefully next weekend i'll knock it out... waiting for the amp and all to get in...
