    Update: flickering headlight finally fixed

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
So after over a year of procrastinating and fighting with the dealership about my flickering hid, I resolved the issue. I went ahead and ordered new bulbs (Philips Ultinon 600K's) and after waiting a month had them put in. When my mechanic took out my factory driver's side bulb he noticed it the glass housing around the bulb was broken. This caused the bulb to turn off randomly, especially over bumps and on turns. All this time I was concerned it was the ballasts and even thought the bulbs aren't cheap (500 bucks), I'm just glad the problem is no longer. So, if anyone is having the same issue (which I know there are plenty of others) it could be a matter of swapping your bulbs.

    Cheers

Good to hear you got it fixed but why are you paying $500 for bulbs? I paid $375 for bulbs and ballasts (OEM)

I wanted to go with 6000k and wanted the philips. I couldn't find them anywhere but suvlights. Anyone else have a resource for those? (I didn't think the dealer could get 600k's)

The only other place I found them was cargym and they were the same price. Yeah, the dealer will only get you 4300Ks.
