I know because I'm a big fan of Volk wheels and wanted them on my previous S4 and current RS4.. they make wheels in our bolt pattern, but the offsets are out of whack, the wheels will end up sticking more inward to the car than the stock wheels.

can you post more info Vividracing? Like which wheel models are offered in our bolt pattern, and size/offset combo that works right?

RS4 oem wheels are 19x9 +29 offset.

RS4 oem wheels are 19x9 +29 offset.

A very good idea. I've gone ahead and gone through the entire Rays Catalog to get you every single wheel spec from Volk available for Audi.

an old user called M O X Y had a sick B6 A4 with Volk TE37s on it and they looked downright nasty. And I mean a good nasty. And his were 19's, but somehow they fit his car. Do a search of his old threads and you'll find pics of his car. Somehow its do-able

Oh I actually like laguna seca, just that specific one is modded terribly IMO. I hate those side skirts, the wheels don't look good on that color at all, and im not a fan of the clear reflectors over just body color painted ones. I loved the vivid laguna seca M.

Because there are wheels out there that folks want but won't fit nicely because they give their car's that tucked in look when some of them would like it flush with the fender.... i guess.

The fact of the matter is that Volk Wheels are forged wheels made to the highest standards available. When customers purchase Volks, they purchase QUALITY and SUPERIOR design. When many people think 'rice' they typically think crap quality, crap design/knock off.

There's a big difference between a cast and forged wheel. If you don't know start brushing up on your facts before pulling the rice card. It's this difference in quality and in the manufacturing process that separates Volk Wheels from your, say Linea Corse brand/Rota or VW-Audi replica wheels etc which I know are ever-so-popular here. I understand many cast wheels are more budget minded, but at the end of the day a broken cast wheel, is just that. BTW, did you know many of your 'rice' branded wheels are cast?

Granted not all forms of casting are terrible, it all depends on the process that is used to create the wheel. For example, Advan Wheels, Work Wheels and even many BBS model wheels are cast. The manufacturing process will make or break a wheel.

There's an obvious reason why SuperGT, Formula Nippon, BTCC, F1 and ALMS cars use Rays/Volk wheels, which might I add are made to the EXACT same tolerances as their street applications.

I definitely understand where that was directed. Calling us Vivid 'Ricing' would directly imply we sell 'rice' on a Volk thread made by us. The fact of the matter is that this is a wheel thread, and I'd rather educate folks on what exactly makes a good wheel instead of feed into comments that would lead this thread astray. This is for the respective members of Audizine to view, inquire and ask if they have any further questions about these wheels.

I dream and fantasize about CE28Ns on my B6 S4 Avant, but the offset is too high.
Also, I thouht there was a 19x8.5 TE37 offered for our bolt pattern that had a much lower offset than 50mm. Is that discontinued?

Possibly in the past, but after double-checking with my rep at Mackin and my Rays catalog, 17 inch is the biggest they drill a 5x112 bolt pattern :(

Love the concept, BUT...

If you're going to push these for Audi's, the offset issue MUST be addressed.

You did not post a single picture of a B7 A4/S4 or RS4 with any of these wheels and I know Volk does not offer a proper offset for an RS4.

We know these wheels look good on other cars.

If you resolved these issues, I think you'd have a much better chance of selling sets, IMHO.

Vivid is well known for radical solutions. Surely you can come up with a wheel/spacer combo solution for the B7's (incl Rs4) then post pics. In fact, I'd be delighted to offer any assistance in locating test mules if needed.

Anyone who doubts Volk's quality is misinformed, by the way. Their stuff is superb and is regularly used in racing and drifting globally.
