By the time you start fabricating the body, chassis and building the drivetrain to duplicate the S1, it would cost more. The sum of the parts alone could reach over $70K.

Actually, look closer. I mentioned the sum of the PARTS would cost over $70K to build a S1 replica. The labor would push the project way over $100K. Don't forget to make an authentic replica, you have to cut the car in half and then shorten it and finally put it on jig to weld back together. The fabricator still has to weld in the rear subframe from a UrQ to the Coupe GT chassis. $100K+ > $70K
