MAP Diode?

Well some of y'all have seen my block 003 logs where I am constantly having my ECU close my throttle during WOT.
It will close down to about 60% throttle around 5300k.
I turned the boost down today like 2 psi and it delayed the close till 5700k.
Should I do the diode mod with the 4.7? Is that what could solve my problems?

I hear of people using the diode because the ECU wont let them boost past a certain amount, but in my case, I am boosting perfectly fine however my throttle closes.

I vote trying the diode mod since it's a cheap and reversible mod if you just toss it in there. Good for testing just to see if it works. If not, pull it out then try something else.

In for this one. I came across the same thread the other day (that sparked my intrigue) and was thinking of trying that out as I am having the same issue. Hey biketsai, since there are a couple of us having the same issue with our DBW please post your resluts. I ordered new fuel filter, new air filter, and new IAT sensor to see if that can fix the issue. I will post my results on that matter. But if the diode method works, you will end up helping a lot of people out. As from what I have been told, people have yet to figure out how to fix this issue.

I was actually thinking of replacing the MAP sensor altogether, but that is a pricey test (~$110) not knowing if it will fix it or not. I was going to do that if after what I ordered does not work.

Edit: I remember a while back, Maxspeed said he has diodes for sale (in his sig). You might want to hit him up if you need them.

Well most people wont sell singles and for under $3 it's not like he is wasting a huge amount of money. I would rather spend $3 then spend a shit load of timing trying to save $1-$2.

I just installed the diode and I keep on having problems. Everytime it is connected (I tried 3 different ones,) I get a code for an implausible signal. If I clear the code, my car idles like shit, smells rich, and then dies. So for the time being I just removed it all together. What is wierd that when I did it yesterday, it didnt idle funny, but it had the codes. The diode is removed right now at the moment. I have the black line side going towards the black wire (ground) and the other side going towards the blue/grey wire. What am I doing wrong?

On a side note: my car ran 100% throttle yesterday when it was installed. I was just trying to remove that code.
