    Help, boost problems

    Hi guys
I recently installed a boost gauge, at idle, I'm reading 20 vacuum. I think I'm not getting any boost? The gauge won't go past 0, the needle only stays in vacuum. When the cars moving, it reads max 10 in HG max. What should I be looking for to fix this? Thanks

    Re: Help, boost problems

wait, do you ever even hit 0? (sorry, it's kind of confusing to read)

if you're not ever even hitting zero then you probably installed your gauge incorrectly or have a loose connection/hole somewhere in the line

    Re: Help, boost problems

weird....my car started doing the same thing today. If you reset the ECU, the boost comes back but disappears after about 100 yards.

    N75 about to go?

(i've been searching for the last hour trying to find an answer....but this is identical to what i have)

    NO flashing CEL
    NO Flashing ESP light
    Recently had my brakes done.

    Re: Help, boost problems

weird....now it almost seems like when i hit the brakes for the first time, it takes the boost away. When i start the car, i can boost all the way up to the first time i have to hit the brakes.

    Re: Help, boost problems

Does the car itself feel like it has no power? Can you feel boost kick in? (This is would obviously indicate a bad gauge)

If the car is super slow then I would lean towards the N75 valve

    Re: Help, boost problems

The car has power and then when i get to the stoplight at the end of my driveway, it disappears. Then i can't get it past 5psi.

    Re: Help, boost problems

    1. Check for a boost leak. Do you hear your car venting boost when you accelerate? If so, it's a boost leak.
    2. Most likely it's your N75. Get another one, or get an MBC to test. If you get boost, keep the MBC. Make sure your N75 is plugged into both the TIP as well as the wire harness. The only lines that need to be removed are Turbo signal and wastegate signal route to the MBC.

    Re: Help, boost problems

Pretty sure it's the N75 now. i didn't have boost for the first 10 minutes this morning and then when i got to the highway, it's came back.
