hey guys. just wanted to start out by saying that i have searched and cant seem to find the answers i'm looking for. here's the deal. i'm looking to sell my B5 (picked up a mkv gti in august) and the audi ecu is currently flashed with the GIAC 93 program. the car is running rough, not boosting much, and giving me a CEL. had bassed scan it for me with VAGCOM, but the ECU is coming up "unreadable" according to VAGCOM. so i bought a stock 557P ecu for cheap. my A4 is straight auto (1997) so i need to recode it, and then start from there as far as determining what is wrong with it so i can fix it and sell it. can someone throw me a bone and point me in the right direction as far as the soft coding to convert it from a manual ecu to auto?
