Post Pic: B7 S4 with RS4 Grill (or is it Grille...)

need to replace, so thought I'd get a look at a few cars with the help of the community. Tried search, but it's tough to search for since so many people have 'RS4 grill' in their signature...it brings up way too many unrelated threads.

how'd the second guy get the S4 logo to hold on there? I think the RS4 grill comes blank...so I'd have to salvage my S4 logo from my cracked grill.

I think some sort of glue. crazy or epoxy?

You should also check out the "Post Pics of B7 RS/S4" thread stickied above, becuase a bunch of people who have modded their S4s have the RS4 grille. (many in that thread)

You've got the RS4 looking grill stuff down in the fogs there...was that a pain in the ass?

also, did you self install the grill (i.e. remove the bumper yourself). If so, how? Sounds terribly intimidating.

Making the fog light mesh is an easy DIY project. I bought the RS4 grill inserts from ECS and cut them to fit, use 5 minute epoxy to make it adhere and let dry overnight. Did this about 6 weeks ago and they are still stuck in place. Easy and if you do the RS4 grilled, you have to match the fogs to it.

If I remeber correct Eddie Man used epoxy but I think others have used crazy glue.

I have yet to put my badge back on as I kinda like the look without.

first month I had the car, I tried to go no-plate.

pulled over 3 times

2 let me go, 1 questioned me about it.
I said 'new car...I've ordered the plate holder...just waiting for it to arrive'

He argued, said 'I see this all the time with sports cars...' and went so far as to call the local dealership! They told him 'should take about 2 days to get one in.

Gave me a ticket. $100

followup - MIRAMAR Audi (genuinevwaudiparts.com) offered the RS4 OEM grill for...

$303.49. Takes 2 days to order in.

post more pics of your car. I wanna see how different a perfectly modded S4 looks vs. an RS4 proper.

I think the wheel arches and the trunk lip are huge differences...let's see!
