Is brilliant black a metallic paint?

basically what the title says, i want to paint my roof and was wondering if brilliant black was metallic or not. thanks in advance

iirc volcano black is a pearl really light black/dark grey. It's much lighter than brilliant black

If you want an oem metalic looking black, I would suggest ebony pearl. When my car is clean you can really see it shine in the sun.

^^^ I would not suggest ebony, because not only is it not very black, it sparkles all different colors (purple, green etc)

DasEighty's roof is a maserati black
TIGHTT's roof is porsche basalt black

at least pic a color that comes from a really expensive car, it sounds cooler. :)

That's true it does sparkle different colors like you said, maybe it wouldn't be the best metalic color for just a roof.
