After install photos of Evoms intake on 2.0t A4

First of all, this intake was the most pain in the butt to install(i have installed intakes on close to 10 different vehicles, everything from nissan 350z to bmws. Its a very nice intake i just thought it should be just a little bit better developed though. Nice sound...but for those who want a quiter intake with the same performace (slight, not noticable gains using the butt dyno) try the carbonio. The intake looks nice and sounds good but, for 300 bucks you had better send me instuctions and maybe a few promo items. EX. stickers, flyer or something...cause everyone knows stickers increase horsepower gains:).Im a little upset that the box i recieved was just packing popcorn and a bunch of parts....no parts list or anything. Im probably gonna get fire spewed at me but. i personally belive evo motors should of spend more time on CAD 3D.

Nope received mine in the mail last night ... same thing no awesome badge.. kinda pissed!

was actually going to contact them for the nicer cover seeing as though that is what they are advertizing in the photo online!

i got mine, but i didn't get any instructions........kinda sucked at the time, got it from the internet, but the directions said nothing about the dowel pins you have to tighten to hold the maf housing. i have the gsg intake pipe as well, so it didn't quite fit as nice as cab7a4's, but it does sound very nice.

by the way if you have this intake, check the pins that hold the maf in place, they do come loose after awhile.....i had to use loctite on mine. hopefully you guys didn't have to deal with this.

I was kinda pissed as well about the badge thing..i was informed that "we changed our design and didnt inform anyone"

Yeah i totally missed those at first untill i gave it a once over and tighten them up as much as i could.....thanks for the advice...i appricieate it :)

i have the evoms, my buddy has the carbonio.....no difference in power, carbonio has the looks side, versus the sound you'll get from the evoms.

plus whats the point of having a nice cover anyway, the heat shield deos its job period. it doesnt need to look good, functionality over form here

the gsg with the evoms will give you a awesome sound; spooling and and blow-off. the fitment won't be as clean as it would with the oem intake hose though.....the oem hose can flex, the pipe is very limited in it's movement.

yeah i heard alot of negative posts about the gsg pipe not working with the carbonio!!! Thats the reason i bought evoms cause i want the gsg pipe to fit as well!!

considering the time it took to install the fitment looks perfect, carbonio has gaps all over the place.
No Intake will give you HP gains on a A4 - unless you are not chipped then you might get a few peak HP.

They make the car sound like a real turbo car, thats why I liked mine.

it looks fine, but im still hesitant about the price being worth spending. If you shaved the emblems off of the back of your car then you could throw one of them on your intake cover if you felt it was too plain.
