    Factory shifter thread pitch?

    I'm trying to mount my old B5 S4 shifter knob on my B6 S4 shifter. I need to thread the shaft, but have no idea what size die I need to use. Is there anyone who can measure the thread pitch and size for me?

    B5 should be M12x1.5 I believe

    It's definitely 12mm x 1.5.
