new guy says hi

..hi.. :)

hey ive lurked here a few weeks, having not been familiar
with this forum over the years. very helpful already thanks to all.
i have had a nice 08 B7 for a few months.
unfortunately i dinged up the front end in queens at 5mph in the rain
and needed new hood bumper and grille. all ok though.

i decided to replace my sline grille with rs4 black optic (kept the silver rings).
wasnt sure how it'd look with silver but im pretty happy with it.
i want to get my original badge back on it and i will give a shot at meshing the foglight surrounds to match, as shown by some folks here and on AW.

also will be fusetapping in my V1 and want to get vag-com.

i really like this little car and will try to keep it for a long time
(i have become a serial car flipper lol)

we have meets every monday night at 8pm at the massapequa diner on sunrise highway. we have a thread on it in the regional section. we started a car club too "LI DTM". you should come by, get some ideas and all that

as far as the rs4 mesh in the fog grille goes, i have it on my car...and have an rs4 grille waiting to be put on in my garage soon enough

your cars are nicely done..whitevdub very nice too.
funny, when i went to look at my soon to be car at anchor,
i noticed a nice white b7 with black grill and yellow fogs
on the meadowbrook going north..an inspiring sight!

ps i will get some pics together maybe over the w/e.
