Odd yes, but I would also say a bit of fun, hehe. I don't see why springs would do that though.

    Re: Rear End Braking Loose

I pretty much drive with esp off but find it a little odd that it brakes loose so easily. sway bar is stock from what I know but will have to double check. could it be the tires?

HAHA dont get me wrong, its very fun! just curious if springs alone would cause that...

wierd, because im sure the spring rates on the H&R's are not even that aggressive. i have 700lb front and 1100 lb rears with an rs4 rear bar and still understeer a bit. only if im hard into a turn and lift off then ill have the rear come out a bit

    Re: Rear End Braking Loose

Sounds like your rear toe is either neutral or out. Actually it should be slightly in. I take it that you did not align your car after you installed your springs? If so, they aligned them rear incorrectly.

    Re: Rear End Braking Loose

ESP would definitely have to be off! Otherwise, it looks like you have some good replies going.

How much oversteer are you talking? (all of a sudden 180...or more reasonable?)

    Re: Rear End Braking Loose

HMMM all great replies but not sure which direction to go first... Im not complaining or anything because it does make the ride more enjoyable!!!( almost feels like rwd but easier to correct) So based on all the replies I take it that its not normal... now im really curious. I guess I'll probably start with my tires and get back to you guys...

The springs came with the car but it does drive straight no prob. Ill have to actually double check the rear sway...any suggestions to distinguish between stock n rs4?
