Most likely some junk on the pad (brake dust, metal shavings, road dirt). Try washing them off or use some compressed air and see if that solves the problem.

You've been around for a while... Haven't you noticed a thread exactly like this one comes up every week?

The squeeking is normal. Here is a copy and paste from another thread. P.S. you were even the last person to post in this thread...

This pretty much happens to everyone... I was told by my friend who is also a mechanic, that squealing and a good amount of dusting is usually a sign of a good performing brake pad material. It's probably just starting to happen to you because your pads are starting to bed. Bedding is when you develop a slight film on your rotor. This helps create more friction and better stopping power. I'll definitely agree with you that it sounds pretty awful and like something is wrong, but sometimes it's funny seeing people cringe when you pull up next to them. Haha although it can be kind of embarrassing because it sounds like you need new pads and are too cheap to buy them.

yea i'm being lazy today and dont feel like searching...i know it's an issue with our cars just seeing if there is a solution....it almost seems my brake power is less now than it was....might upgrade the pads.
