How many miles do you drive to and from work?

6 miles to my job, then another 4 to where the car is parked. I carpool with my brother and roommate, it makes it pretty damn cheap to work downtown with gas split three ways, driving split between two cars, and not paying for parking. My commuting bill is probably $50/month. Not bad.

Holy shit, why would you not just get a place at school!? How often do you drive that 140 miles? Every school day? And to think that I thought 50 miles round-trip wasn't worth the gas when I could just get an apartment (which I did).

My old job used to be about 30 miles round-trip. I miss the early morning drives when I worked breakfast. Wide open roads at 4:30 a.m.

Gotta love back-road commuting, I have about a 15 mile 90%-highway commute that goes opposite of rush-hour traffic (planned ftw, btw) and I still take back roads from time to time to unleash the Quattro. It's through some of the most beautiful scenery in the country too, at least in my humble opinion.

56 miles round trip.... I didn't carpool before not because of the drive... but because of my "get to work as late as i can and get out of work as early as I can" schedule. But now that work's picking up and started carpooling... it's nice to have a half tank of gas left at the end of the week for real spirited driving

Office is in San Francisco and I am currently living in AZ south of Tucson. Fly up on Tuesday morning, fly home Thursday night. Luckily Southwest has $209 R/T right now so it's not too bad. Only put 80 miles a week on the car since the airport is 40 miles away.
