I have it and I love it, sound is great and there isnt any drone. I bought the AWE downpipe a couple months ago to make it turboback and its even more insane haha

FusionX, what's the impact on your MPG with the upgrade? I'd truly consider doing it if 1. the MPG impact was non-existent since I love getting over 30mpg at 75mph, and 2. my wife would release her death grip on our checkbook.

The decrease in mpg is usually a result of one driving the car harder, to hear the exhaust more often.

haha i drive pretty hard so i have no idea man :-/ . it probably wont increase / decrease MPG if i were to take a guess

Welcome new member~ I have the full AWE exhaust and is great! Very nice tone, tips, and power gain. If you don’t need to get it now, I will wait for another 2 weeks since AWE will have their xmas special in Dec. Each week is special discounted product and you can pickup the system + intake at that time. Yay?

The decrease in MPG for me a not that much and it also depends how I drive it and also if I go with highway miles or city driving and also if A/C and heat was used. When gas was like $4.70/G I hardly hit boost! Now gas price went down quite a bit so can have fun whenver

the tips are awesome, one of the best things is that they keep their shine! I got my exhaust installed about 5 months ago and they haven't lost their shine. All the black exhaust soot wipes right off and it always looks brand new :)

I just had a turbo back eurojet exhaust, and now im switching over to a turbo back AWE exhaust. The EJ TBE was too loud, and the AWE TBE has a nice exhaust note sound

Nononno, you need to Fulll system, not just catback. Just get it full system xmas time during their special and then tell your wife end of the year Super Sale / drawings and it only costs you like $500 for a full system >:D

AWE vs. APR Sport

Which is louder at the Cat-Back setup? Turbo-Back setup (AWE Metal Cat)? Does the APR Turbo-Back require software to avoid a check engine light?

The AWE system is 2.5” , the APR is 3”. Cant speak of just the CBE since I have the TBE with the HFC. It’s a very nice quality exhaust, quiet with a very nice sport tone when you get on it. I myself find it bit soft so had shop tweaked it so is louder now. I wish they have diamond blk tips hehe!

Hmm, I was thinking GHL cause it's nice and loud, but I hear it is racer ricer/Honda sounding. What do you mean by "tweak" it? I want loud but not ricer/fart-can sounding.

Believe GHL is 3” system also. IMO, I think an exhaust should have a decent sound/note and of course with powergains, if not much sound why get an exhaust? I took the resonator out since I want it a bit louder and deeper note. The resonator itself is pretty much hollow and after taking it out is not that bad, bit deeper nothing extreme. If you get the AWE, just install it and try it out 1st and let it break in a bit. If you want deeper note you can remove it down the road. Cant go wrong with the AWE system. The Stasis is nice too, but is a CBE but can be paired up with aftermarket downpipe i.e. AWE DP x Stasis CBE. Hope the info help. I’ll post pix after work, great product

A 2.5" TBE exhaust will be faster than a 3.0" TBE exhaust. Our cars arent really made to run 3.0" piping and it causes the turbo to spool up more and you just loose some power. I heard you can run into turbo problems with a 3.0" system down the line but I can't confirm that.

GHL is defiantly loud and im sure it has drone, ive heard it in person not too long ago and I don't remember it sounding ricey.

another thing about the awe is everything stays really shiny. My resonators look brand new, tips look brand new, and i havent really cleaned the piping but it looks pretty damn new and everythings a couple months old
