    Ready for the the spring

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
So I just finished getting a few basic maintenance things done to my car, and i'm ready to start some of the real modding to it. I just got brakes, rear rotors and an alignment and I'm due for an oil change again soon. In the spring i'm looking to do:

    -Revo stage 2
    -Bosch TT225 injectors
    -Ecode Test Pipe
    -Thermal R&D Exhaust
    -B5 S4 Brake Upgrade
    -Ecodes Black housing
    -USP Front bumper
^^ Both Ecodes and USP Bumper due to a little front end action in the rain going down hill but they were on the list just a little further down.
-Front Splitter (not sure which yet, recommendations ?)
-Boost Gauge somewhere along the line too

After this I think I will be pretty happy with the car to get the funds back for some more mods. What do you guys think ? Any changes to that or things I should do ? Thanxx

Maybe the previous owner put springs on it.

wooh.. i would lower it before most of those mods. get your stance right then tweak out the engine. that ride height is painful to look at

Sorry to break it to you two, but your cars are that high and you're in denial lol. It was just the angle of the picture.

No it won't bigger wheels and less side wall will make it look even higher.

    ^^ hahaha

question tho ... I have done research on suspension and I have heard that if you don't do a full suspension the shocks will not support the new weight and pressure etc on them because of the springs and how it will give the car a harder ride and vice versa ... how true is this and how long can i wait if i just do springs and then save up for the rest of it ?

Very true with all cars, if you run sport springs which are much shorter than non sport springs with your non sport shocks/struts which have less shock travel than sport shocks/struts you will bottom out more than normally in turn shortening the life span of your shocks/struts.

You can last maybe 10K miles with brand new non sport shocks/struts. Depending on how you drive, it won't take long for them to give out though
