    I have a blown one but no vagcom

    Can I test it by pulling out a coilpack while the car is running to see if the condition worsens?

    Yeah that will work because when you pull the coilpack that is out the car will run the same

    Dont pull it out. Just unplug the harness. If you pull on it, it can arc and you could get a little zap.
