Another set of spraypainted wheels. Winter Setup Style.

The winter wheels got a makeover last week. One can of industrial primer and a few cans of RustOleum Industrial Gloss Black and it's a complete different look. Mark stopped by to show off the new finish on his "winter" set-up... These are Hartmann New Turbo wheels in 18x8 and a 35mm offset. Mark had picked these up last year but decided to rattle-can them black for this winter season - a far improvement from the previous look that goes well with Mark's smoked theme.

Your offset looks perfect for having a 18x8 offset 35 wheel. Or are you running spacers? Regardless, that looks great. What kind of rear spoiler do you have that extends to the tail lights>?

thanks guys. I just have an 8mm spacer in the back with 235/40/18's.

When i had 225/40's i had a 15mm spacer on there. no rub and looked killer. when i went to the 235/40's, it rubbed on medium dips. Might have a set of 12mm milled down to fit the centerbore of the wheels though. then put my shelved 5mm's in the front.

I just painted the tops of the taillights amulet. no spoiler goes over them. the spoiler itself on the trunk lid is a Hofele spoiler that i purchased on a whim. Not sure i'm feeling it though. Put it on this last weekend just because. We'll see how long it says on there.

You could have at least parked so the "tire rotation" logo on your tires were in the same location on the front and rear tires!!! Painting the top of your tail lights, what a great idea, wish I would have thought of that ....Bastard! BTW, I like the spoiler, the paint looks incredible on it

Mark your car looks like garbage and you smell like poop. I hate everything about it, including the spoiler. (Paint on the spoiler looks great though!)

PS, im going shopping for some white matching sunglasses for us this weekend. We are going to win. You should make a big white vinyl for my back windshield too representin for our team.

PPS, for those who cant sense internet sarcasm, Marky-poo, your car looks fabulous, love everything about it, wish i could have a flossy winter setup like you (wasnt joking about smelling like poop though- hence the name "Marky-POO").

I always liked those Turbo wheels, but in gloss black, they are SMOKIN'! Good work. If you ever get tired of them though, I would take hand-me-downs.
